Week of January 16, 2012
Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 09:40AM In the article put out by the Barna Organization, "What People Experience in Churches", they report that 68% of people who attend church feel "Part of a group of people who are united in their beliefs and who take care of each other in practical ways." 32% said that church feels "like a group sharing the same space in a public event but who were not connected in a real way."
I believe that our prayer circle is a very real and tangible way for FPCM to care for each other... Our prayers are not just lip service but lead us into acts of compassion for each other, those we know and those we do not, In a praying congregation, the joys or needs of one are known by the whole...
Thanks for your prayers and acts of grace, blessings- dave
Please be the eyes and ears of the needs of our Church family, letting Jordan in the Church Office know of prayer needs…These are our loved ones and family friends that we are aware of and who need to be held in prayer this week… Pastor Dave
